Salt
The act of using salt enhances what we eat, but it is also a ritual gesture involving other sensory stimulations we are generally unconscious of. Salt is a playful collection of objects that bring into focus the visual and tactile senses experienced in cooking and dining, in the space where physical form and culinary rituals meet. These functional and non-functional objects will subtly intervene the dining space at Pinotta Bar and Table in Fitzroy North. Guests will be able to utilise and interact with the pieces, which express strange yet familiar movements, forms and textures.
